DOOMSDAY is a satirical short film that argues the legitimacy of those in power, portraying them as gods living inside a volcano, grappling with authority beyond their understanding. The story takes an absurd turn as —a clogged sink— escalates into a catastrophic event, culminating in a volcanic eruption that destroys the world. Doomsday highlights the fragility and humanity of leadership, revealing how the façade of control often masks uncertainty and indecision. Through dark humor and sharp commentary, the film exposes the absurdity of power structures, and imposed social norms as the normality.
