These three texts are part of a wider essay, titled Virtual Bodies - Corporeal theories within digital worlds.
Modern days are a strange time to live in, but honestly what historical period on earth has not been peculiar in some way?
My research aims to investigate human behavior and experiences in contemporary spaces, a crossroad between virtual locations and real natural elements. These virtual-natural lands become a place of personal exploration, as well as an opportunity to reconceptualize our surroundings and ourselves. How is your body moving?
Videogames are a virtual space in which our body cannot enter, we encounter here one of the bifurcations between the material and the virtual. Since our consciousness has no physical presence, it is capable of entering every space it wants. We are attending the jump of our consciousness between worlds, something that I call the matryoshka effect, we have countless of different bodies existing in separate spaces, same core.
